Remembering Jim Henderson

About

Jim Henderson was an integral part of Pavilion Village from the beginning.  Jim traveled to Kenya with Pastor Michael French on the first trip to identify and purchase the property that would become Pavilion Village Children's Home.  He was a board member, treasurer, chief fundraiser and more.  His gentleness and loving kindness reflected the heartbeat of Pavilion.  His impact will be lasting and his presence will be deeply missed.

Gardening with Passion

As seen here, Jim was the same man in Kenya that he was at home.  His garden meant the world to him and he picked up Kenyan tools and jumped right in to help plant, however the real seeds he planted went far beyond a single season and will impact the lives of the children at Pavilion for generations to come.  In the photo below he is helping set up new farm equipment - this was who he was with people too, always helping others become all that they could be!

Thank You

Thank you for taking the time to learn what a beautiful heart that Jim had for Kenya and for his family at Pavilion Village.  Jim's unending sacrifice of time, energy and resources has forever left its mark on the children of Pavilion.  Words cannot express how much his loss has impacted us and how deeply he will be missed.
